Brundish village
Suffolk Attractions
Brundish is a small village in the rural Suffolk countryside with a church and a pub. Brundish Street meanders past a succession of lovely traditional Suffolk houses and farms. Pine Tree Studio is situated at the end of the street next to a pretty Rose Nursery with a farm shop.

The popular village of Laxfield, with a small shop and two pub/restaurants is only 2 miles away. Framlingham (5 miles away) has a 12th Century castle, a market square, cafe's, restaurants, pubs and supermarket. The thriving town of Halesworth (9 miles), is on the way to Southwold and Walberswick seaside resorts on the Suffolk Heritage Coast (20 miles).

Numerous pretty villages and attractions can be visited locally including Saxtead Mill, Easton Farm Park, Helmingham Hall, and Framlingham castle which has thirteen towers in its ramparts, an old workhouse, a dried up moat and a wonderful natural mere at the bottom of the hill.
The coast is half an hour’s drive: Southwold is a lovely example of a Victorian seaside town with a pier, beach huts and tea on the promenade. Walberswick has a long beach with sand dunes, and lots of crab dipping in the small harbour. Historic ruins on the cliffs at Dunwich are linked to the nearby National Trust heather heath and the renowned Minsmere RSPB bird sanctuary. Several public hides are accessible from the beach, so bring your binoculars.
The Snape Maltings concert hall is the home of the famous Benjamin Britten music festivals, and the Sutton Hoo archaeological site (near Woodbridge) is worth a visit for its stunning exhibition of the Anglo Saxon ship burial and treasures in the new visitors center.
